As announced during the Future Games Show gamescom event, Super Animal Royale is out of Early Access on Steam and is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Super Animal Royale is a free-to-play battle royale with a bit of a twist; you play as adorably menacing genetically modified animals! Each battle starts with you jumping off the back of a giant eagle into a 64-player fight to the death. There are a wide variety of weapons to choose from including shotguns and bananas, as well as unique vehicles like emus and hamster balls. You can find your own style for your animal with over 600 cosmetic items available to be unlocked and/or purchased.
Alongside the announcement of its full release, Modus Games and Pixile Studios also announced the start of Season 1, which includes a plethora of new content for the game. While there are already over 300 breeds available in the game, Season 1 will introduce an additional animal: Super Frogs. And if the full-sized animals weren’t cute enough, Mini Animal pets can be purchase in the S.A.W. shop or unlocked with the Animal Pass that will follow your character around, or you can leave them in the new petting zoo map location that you can use to visit your pets and give them some love.
The Super Animal World Animal Pass for this season also includes extra rewards, cosmetics, and more. With the release of this new pass, Super Animal Royale will also be getting an archive system where players can go back to old passes and progress in them with no expiration date.
