Eidos-Montréal’s latest superhero game is nearing its release and similar to James Gunn’s two Marvel Cinematic Universe films, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy the video game will also have a soundtrack full of iconic songs to accompany Star-Lord and the other Guardians on their adventure. And today, along with the release of an animated music video for Zero to Hero by the Star-Lord band that takes 80s nostalgia to the next level, we have our first look at the full game tracklist. There is also an extended cut of the music video that features VHS footage from the band to really make it authentic. The tracklist for the game features a lot of songs whose choruses will immediately start playing in your head as you read the title. Those are all the songs from the tracklist for the upcoming Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game. You can listen to the full playlist on Spotify now. While these songs will help to set the mood as background music, some will also play a key role in combat. As you play through the game, you will have to choose between songs to amp up your fellow Guardians to defeat your enemies. You will also be able to play the songs on a jukebox which will be on the Milano, and there will be an option to toggle the music off if you plan on streaming or recording so you don’t get smacked with any copyright claims.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and streaming via GeForce NOW on October 26, 2021.
