The last Fortnite season ended with a bang, not only in terms of story for the overarching game lore but also with the reveal of The Foundation. Behind the helmet of the game’s stoic badass character lies the smoldering mug of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. This current season, The Foundation has been at the forefront of promo, right alongside Spider-Man. And this has had a lot of players wondering how you can unlock The Rock in Fortnite. Today the answer came via a new update that unlocks two pages of quests that, when completed, unlock The Foundation as a playable character.
Page 1 of The Foundation Quests:
- Maintain the Perimeter: Visit Might Monument, a Seven Outpost, and Sanctuary. Unlocks The Foundation outfit.
- Demonstrate the element of surprise: Snipe an opponent with a Sniper Rifle while crouching. Unlocks The Foundation’s Mantle Back Bling.
- Keep your enemies close: Deal 100 melee damage to opponents. Unlocks The Foundation’s Plasma Spike Pickaxe.
- Raid the IO armory: Search three chests or ammo boxes at Covert Cavern. Unlocks The Foundation’s Fortune Emoticon
- Always be prepared: Use four shield potions in a single match. Unlocks the True Foundation Spray
- Never be too proud to recruit help: Hire a character and travel 1000 meters with them. Unlocks the Foundational Wrap.
Once you complete all the quests on the first page, along with the quest-specific unlocks, you will unlock the second page of quests. The quests on both pages can be completed in any order.
Page 2 of The Foundation Quests:
- Give the new IO officer a warm welcome: Assist in eliminating Gunna. Unlocks the Tactical Visor Toggle Emote The Foundation Outfit’s Unmasked Style.
- Make the most of what you have: Deal 500 headshot damage to players with Common or Uncommon weapons. Unlcoks the Combat Elite Foundation visor.
- Gain the high ground: Deal 1000 damage to opponents from above with Shotguns or SMGs. Unlocks the Tactical Foundation visor.
- Stock up at an Outpost and get ready: Land at a Seven Outpost and then finish Top 10. Unlocks The Rocket Wing Glider.
Completing all of the above will unlock a full loadout for The Foundation. This includes the above-pictured outfit, glider, tool, cape, weapon and vehicle skin, and emotes, including the toggle one that removes The Foundation’s helmet and shows off that smoldering mug that ended the last season. One important thing to note is that this loadout is exclusive to Chapter 3 Season 1 battle pass members or members subscribed to Fortnite Crew.
