Call of the Sea was initially released in 2020 to plenty of positive reviews. This led to the game getting a full release on PlayStation a few months later. Overall, the puzzles in the game are not too difficult, but one that could offer a bit of trouble is the Howling Dog/Dragon Bridge Puzzle that lies through one of the doors in the sanctuary in Chapter 6 of the game. If you need help with the constellation puzzle to get through any of the five doors in the entrance hall of the sanctuary, check out our guide for those here. For now though, let’s talk about these howling dog/dragon/gargoyle/animal things.
The first step to completing this puzzle is to turn the animals to create a short path to get over to the white panel. To do this, walk up to the panel of buttons in front of you and do the following.
- Press the center diamond button once
- Press the far right diamond button once
- Press the gold button
It should look like this:
Follow the path you have made to a white panel. Here you will need to make a path so you can get to the fish head on the far side. To do so:
- Press the far left diamond button once
- Press the center diamond button once
- Press the far right diamond button three times
- Press the gold button
It should now look like this:
Then make your way back to the black panel and press the following buttons to create your walkway over to the fish head.
- Press the far left diamond button twice
- Press the center diamond button once
- Press the gold button
It will now look like this:
Now you can walk easily to the fish head on the other side and get your final piece of constellation.
SECRET OBJECT:
Each chapter of the game holds a secret object, and the one for Chapter 6 lies in this very room. After getting your fish bite, return to the black panel and press the following buttons.
- Press the far left diamond button once
- Press the gold button
It should now look like this:
Follow this path to the small stone square on the far left of the screen. Here you will find a small photo on the ground. Interact with it, and you’ll unlock the achievement for finding the secret object in Chapter 6
And make sure to view the mural that is half covered by fallen rocks on your way out if you want to get the achievement/trophy for finding all the murals on the island.
