Team17 and Tributary Games have recently announced their online multiplayer party game, King Of The Castle, will be launching on Steam on March 2 according to the new date announcement trailer.
King Of The Castle is a cooperative online multiplayer that allows you to play through hundreds of unique medieval fantasy stories from the viewpoint of a Monarch or as member of their Council of Nobles. The Council of Nobles will aid the Monarch by taking votes on what the Monarch should do next in terms of progressing the storyline, but the impact and legitimacy of those votes will be determined by the Monarch.
The game allows you to gather a party of up to 21 people, but not everyone has to own a copy of the game. Only the host of the game will require a copy and everyone else will just need to be able to see the host’s screen and be logged into twitch, where they can use the chat function to help cast votes, or a web browser, where they will cast their votes.
For all who are interested in purchasing a copy of King Of The Castle, it is available to Wishlist right now on Steam which will give you updates and reminders about the game prior to its release in March.
