Vampire Therapist is Out Now on PC

Share

Prepare to identify cognitive distortions under the guidance of a 3,000-year-old vampire in the aptly named Vampire Therapist from Cyrus Nemati. Inspired by the likes of What We Do in the Shadows and Horrible Histories, Vampire Therapist merges a dark comedic style with deep, introspective subject matters and real-life historical personalities.

I got the chance to play a preview build of Vampire Therpiast a few months ago and found it to be a surprisingly in-depth visual novel. A big reason for this is that the game was written in consultation with licensed therapists to give the game an authentic message. While it doesn’t replace therapy, it does help ground the characters and their issues.

Take a unique journey through the psychology of vampirism in Vampire Therapist, out today on PC via Steam and GoG. Along with solo developing the game, Cyrus Nemati of Little Bat Games (who players might recognize as the voice of Dionysus in Hades) is joined by a notable voice cast featuring Matt Mercer (Vox Machina), Sarah Grayson (Hades 2), Francesca Meaux (Hades) along with newcomer Kylie Clark.
