This week, we feature a variety of games ranging from a pantsless physics-based brawler launching into 1.0 to the definitive edition of a hair-raising nightmare. Star Wars: Bounty Hunter

Become the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy! As Jango Fett, you’ll jump, jetpack, blast and strafe in this iconic action-adventure game featuring a variety of visual and gameplay improvements on modern platforms, as well as Steam Deck support, mouse and keyboard controls on PC, and several DualSense controller features for PlayStation 5 players. Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Bare Butt Boxing

A rainbow of eccentric aliens duke it out in physics-based matches to punch pantsless pugilists into portals in three-player local or six-player online multiplayer. Duke it out in venues like the just-added windy mountaintop, floor-dropping disco arcade, and cozy alien bedroom. Square off in the all-new Soccer and Super Gloves modes to earn the coveted crown and coins to spend on stylish accessories. Bare Butt Boxing has now launched into 1.0 on PC via Steam and is also on the Nintendo Switch.

Spectre Divide

Spectre Divide is a competitive 3v3 tactical FPS that advances the genre forward with Duality, a mechanic that intuitively keeps players engaged in the small team format. While there are three players per team, every player will control a “Spectre”, a second body they can freely swap between in real-time. Mountaintop Studios includes decades of combined experience on titles like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, Apex Legends, Overwatch, Call of Duty, and Halo. The team has also collaborated with Shroud as a gameplay consultant.

The Mortuary Assistant: Definitive Edition

As a newly graduated apprentice, Rebecca Owens has no idea of the dark secrets hidden within and beneath her new workplace. One night when she’s called in to handle some embalmings, the owner, Raymond Delver, phones to break the news that there are demonic forces at work. From indie horror developer DarkStone Digital and horror publisher DreadXP, the hair-raising nightmare that is The Mortuary Assistant: Definitive Edition is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC with an Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S launch as early as next week.

Impaler Gold

Retrovibe, the indie game publisher known for its retro-inspired titles, and solo developer Apptivus have announced the release of Impaler Gold, the most significant update yet to the fast-paced, minimalistic arena shooter, Impaler. Creatures of Ava

Set against a canvas of wholesome and colorful visuals, Creatures of Ava hides a deep narrative, co-written by Rhianna Pratchett, that explores dueling themes of acting with empathy while learning when you may need to let something go. Players take on the role of Vic, a young explorer who finds herself crash-landed on a distant planet alongside her companion, Tabitha. Take on the life-and-death task of cleansing an all-consuming infection, The Withering, ravaging the planet of Ava. But is what’s in the planet’s best interest also aligned with your own best interests? Creatures of Ava is out now on PC and Xbox Series X|S. It’s also available Day One on Xbox Game Pass.
